Just a quick paragraph to keep you up to date with new stuff here at Studio1, we now have more cross trainers fixed and variable ramp, extra rowers (concept 2) more treadmills and also a brand new Guardsun 8000 stand up tanning bed which is so popular it is never out of use.
In the studio on Monday at 7.15pm we have power circuits involving bag and pad work, TRX, functional weights and some serious cardio, Tuesdays at 7.30pm is the womens total body circuit class by Sarah and her extremely loud whistle!!!! On Wednesday at 7pm we have Hanka teaching the ever popular ZUMBA and Thursday's is a private circuit class run for one of our local football teams howver the lively bunch never mind guests so guys and girls that love to train hard are welcome.
Love the gym but wanted more space, well we did too so Studio1 has moved to brand new self contained premises in farnham. Unit 7 Hurlands business park is 3500 square feet over 2 floors and has a seperate cardio studio, the free weights and resistance area is now double the size and will include 15k worth of brand new gym80 and Icarian equippment from 23rd June. The gym will also incorporate high power stand up sun beds, a pad work and boxing area with bags, extensive range of supplements, a small studio available for hourly rental. Not only that it's a stones throw from the large sainsbury's store and starbucks for the discerning coffee drinker.

The UKBFF South Coast 2010 show will be held at Portsmouth Guildhall. This is the most impressive venue of a bodybuilding show next to the Grand Prix at Wembley. There is a massive stage and professional sound and lighting . Within the Guildhall there is a sit down restaurant and fully licensed bars that are open all day. The venue can seat over 2,000 people! This years guest star will be IFBB-PRO Ronny 'the rock' Rockel and Harold Marillier will also be doing a guest spot. Don't forget that 3 of our own boys from Studio1 will be competing this year! James Elliot in the classic class, Matt Keane in the heavyweights and Will Davies in the U21's, so try and get down to Portsmouth and show your support! Tickets are £15 on the door.
Studio 1 closes at 2pm on Xmas eve and re opens at 4pm on the 27th until 7.30pm and is then open every day except new years day at the same times 4pm until 7.30pm and then returning to normal opening hours on the 2nd January

October 16th Louise Rogers attempted the difficult task of competing at the IFBB worlds in Como (Italy) which is notorious for having a massive attendance, amazing levels of condition and very rarely has anyone from the UK even managed to scratch the surface. Louise our current UK body fitness champ made the tall class (+168cm) and was up against the current world champion, the Russian champion as well as amazing competitors from Norway such as Tea Erickson and Nina Mo. Having got 1st call outs and constant judging attention Louise made it through to the top 15 and was requested back for the finals on Sunday.... an awesome achievement. On Sunday she pulled out all the stops and really gave it her all on stage placing 5th in the world in what was only her 3rd ever show.............. she is the first ever UK woman to win a Pro card in Europe and after only 1 year of competing and in her 3rd show makes this almost unbelievable.
